This gorgeous tart from Martha Stewart is crammed with delicious spinach. It features a homemade sesame crust, and red pepper flakes give it a bit of a kick.
Best of all, the dish is easy to make. It can be assembled in three simple steps.

You will need:
Crust
- ¾ cup whole wheat flour
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- ⅓ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- ⅓ cup water
Filling
- 1½ pounds (about 14 cups) spinach, stems trimmed
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 large shallot, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- ½ teaspoon coarse salt
- ½ teaspoon sesame seeds
